Terms of Service
Last updated: October 27, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Vokoza platform, operated by Vokoza Networks Ltd (RC 9727228) ("Vokoza", "we", "us", or "our"), a company operating under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. By purchasing a voucher, connecting to a Vokoza-powered network, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who we are
Vokoza Networks Ltd provides multi-tenant network access and management software that businesses ("venues") use to sell and manage Wi-Fi access for their guests. Vokoza is not an Internet Service Provider (ISP). We do not own, operate, or guarantee the underlying internet connection, network hardware, or venue power supply used to deliver Wi-Fi access.
2. Service scope and availability
Vokoza provides software for voucher sales, delivery, management and related reporting. The venue's network equipment validates voucher codes and provides network access. Internet availability and performance depend on the venue's ISP, equipment and power supply. Service may be affected by:
- Third-party ISP bandwidth outages, congestion, or speed fluctuations;
- Venue power failures, hardware faults, or router/access-point misconfiguration;
- Maintenance or configuration changes on the venue's network.
Contact the network owner about connection problems. Contact Vokoza about a platform or voucher-delivery problem. This division of responsibilities does not remove either party's obligations under applicable law.
3. Vouchers and payments
Payments are processed through Paystack or Flutterwave, depending on the provider configured for the business. The checkout identifies the provider and payment options available to you. Review the plan, price, location, duration, data allowance and device limit before paying. A voucher is for the business and network for which it was purchased; it is not automatically valid on another business's network.
Keep your voucher code secure. Access is subject to the purchased plan's limits and the network's configuration. A voucher being created is not the same as it being activated or used.
Problems and refunds: If a payment is confirmed but you receive no voucher, an invalid voucher, or a duplicate charge, contact support with the business name, payment reference, amount and date. Do not send card details, passwords or one-time codes.
We will investigate the payment and delivery records and work with the business and payment provider as needed. Depending on the findings and your legal rights, the appropriate remedy may be delivery of a valid voucher, a replacement or a refund. Refunds are not promised to happen automatically; processing depends on the payment provider and the circumstances.
For an unused voucher, contact support to review the request. For an activated or partly used voucher, the review also considers usage and the reported problem. Generation or activation alone does not remove rights you have under Nigerian consumer law.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use any Vokoza-powered network for unlawful activity, to circumvent voucher/data limits, to interfere with the network's operation, or to resell access without the venue's authorization. Venues and Vokoza reserve the right to suspend access that violates these Terms.
5. Responsibility and your consumer rights
Vokoza is responsible for its platform services, and the network owner is responsible for the internet service and network it supplies. Responsibility for a particular problem depends on its cause and applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits your rights in relation to defective service, negligence, fraud or misrepresentation.
6. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service changes. This page shows the date of the latest revision. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights attached to an earlier purchase. Where notice or agreement is required by law, we will provide it or obtain it before the relevant change takes effect.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You may contact us first to seek a resolution, but this does not prevent you from approaching the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), another relevant regulator, or a court with jurisdiction.
